Spray Can Trigger Handle
Spray Can Trigger
I’ve seen these around for ages, but never purchased one, because, I mean, how hard is it to press the little button on top of the can? I bought this one on a whim. It was only £3 and I needed something to make up the value on an order so that I could get free delivery.
Actually, I’ve been daft in not purchasing one before. It really does makes my spraying better. I’m still not great when it comes to painting anything, but I’m a lot better when I have this on the can. For a start, the leverage provided by the trigger gives your finger an easier time and you do actually feel like you’re using a proper spray gun. It makes it easier to manipulate your wrist and follow the contours of whatever you’re spraying so much better.    Sometimes it's a little tricky to fit to the can, but definitely worth the effort.
One thing to note, always make sure the nozzle of the can is pointing outwards before pressing the trigger. I know it sounds obvious, but the handle is free to rotate around the top of the can and it will do so when you’re giving the can a shake!  This one is a Plasti-kote branded, but many other versions are available. Can be found on Ebay, Amazon, all good DIY stores and motor factors etc. from £3 upwards
